Melanated PEARL Inc shared insights at Health Literacy Summit in Clayton County, GA

Crystal Perry (Founder/CEO) of attended the Health Literacy Summit hosted by Clayton County Health District. The summit took place on Thursday, April 18, 2024, at the Morrow Center from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.

This year, the theme revolves around “Helping Clayton Invest in Health Literacy.” Clayton County Health District believes that by fostering collaborative discussions and sharing insights, we can make significant strides in enhancing health literacy within our community.

The summit featured three engaging roundtable discussions, focusing on crucial topics that impact health literacy:

Health/Education/Mental Health
Housing/Transportation/Food Insecurity
Economics/Employment/Safety 

Crystal served as a panelist and spoke on the economics, employment, and safety helping to explore innovative solutions and approaches to address the challenges faced by our community.
