“…because we ALL we got…
Uplift: We believe in the power and promise of Black women. We purposely uplift and support PEARL girls and women in and around our community.
Pandemics, like any disaster, strain individual, family, community, business, and societal resources. As we all work to develop new strategies to fund our lifestyles, nonprofits, small businesses, and artistic practices, Melanated Pearl Corporation reminds us that Black communities, and Black women in particular have always known how to adapt, survive, and make do with what we have. What do we have?
We have each other! While the current state of various industries might be up in the air, one thing is for certain...some good will come out of this if we stick together.
During this time unparalleled unrest, Melanated Pearl Corporation remains active in our mission to educate, uplift, and empower.
Access To Water
On any given day, 550,000 Americans experience homelessness and may not have regular access to a shower and other services.
We’re on a mission to educate, uplift, and empower by creating hot showers for those without daily access to water. Our Spring & Summer Showers program aims to change the stigma around the issue of the unhoused and homelessness, and bring the experiences out of the shadows. When you help provide showers for those in need, you’re helping restore dignity, confidence, and opportunity. Each guest receives shampoo, soap, socks, a towel, and 15 minutes of privacy. The most important part of mobile hygiene is not simply giving guests a shower–it is the way the unhoused guests are treated.

Black Women; we have to navigate a patriarchal and misogynistic world and are undoubtedly the foundation of Black life and culture. Our contributions, both seen and unseen, to our families, communities, and the entire world, deserve more recognition.
Let’s UPLIFT Black Female Voices
Melanated PEARL Corporation celebrates BLACK female voice and is excited to sponsor a Niki Grace Book Signing Event on November 6, 2021.
Nicki Grace’s Book SigningNicki Grace is an Atlanta native, author, wife, mother, and philanthropist. She was raised by a mother that couldn’t read or write. As you would expect, this meant her upbringing was very untraditional and unfamiliar to most, but it gave her an edge and a unique view of the world around her. The escape offered by books was something she often looked forward to, and it took her on a journey where she could gain insight into worlds that drastically differed from her own, and at eight years old, she knew she wanted to become an author. Mrs. Grace now has a Bachelor′s Degree in Business Administration and a Master’s Degree in Creative Marketing and Entrepreneurship. She enjoys using her skills and background to take her reader's on a ride that they won't soon forget. You can read more about her at Nickigracenovels.com |
